Alvin Sinckler

Chief Financial Officer

Alvin joined the Fund for Public Schools as the Chief Financial Officer in 2023. In his role, he serves as a core member of the leadership team, overseeing all financial matters including financial planning and analysis, accounting, grant budgets, treasury and financial reporting for the Fund in partnership with NYC Public Schools.

Alvin brings over twenty (20) years of experience in providing leadership to non-profit & for-profit organizations. Previously he was the Chief Financial Officer for Coordinated Behavioral Care, Inc. He also led teams as the Chief Financial Officer for Boys Town New York and Boys Town Washington, D.C. in an array of responsibilities from financial reporting and analysis, contract negotiations, risk management, grants management, budgeting, forecasting, information technology and human capital management, among others. Alvin earned his B.Sc. in Business Management & Finance from Brooklyn College - CUNY and his M.Sc. in Technology Management from Columbia University.
