Jose Acevedo

Senior Grant Operations Associate

Jose joined the Fund for Public Schools in 2005 and has extensive knowledge of the NYC Public Schools, having served in a variety of roles. At the Fund, Jose’s role includes office management, accounts receivable, and grants management. He also serves as a key point of contact for NYC Public Schools-related HR and finance items, such as donated services, grant allocations, and personnel. Prior to joining the Fund, Jose worked as a custodian for the NYC Public Schools and in the accounts payable unit within the Division of Financial Operations. Jose received his Associates Degree in Business Administration from Kingsborough Community College.
