The Fund for Public Schools, Inc. (“The Fund”) is committed to safeguarding donors’ privacy. Please read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use carefully. The Fund may change the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use from time to time in order to address new issues and reflect changes on the fundforpublicschools.org web site (“Site”). Any changes to the privacy policy will be posted here.
The Fund does not require you to register or to provide information to us in order to view our Site. The Fund only collects personally identifiable information, such as name or postal/e-mail addresses, about any individual Site user when the information is knowingly provided by such user. For example, The Fund may ask you for personally identifiable information when you make a contribution, either on our website, over the phone or by mailing in a check. We may collect your name, email address and other contact information if you participate in The Fund’s activities. This information is used solely by The Fund or affiliated entities who are involved in the operation of this Site to process donations and for internal purposes.
The Fund will only share personally identifiable information with third parties when (i) the person submitting the information authorizes The Fund to share it; (ii) sharing the information is a necessary operation of the Site, for instance, to process a credit card transaction, or (iii) The Fund is required to by law. The Fund will not sell, share or trade a donor’s personal information with anyone else, nor send donors mailings on behalf of other organizations.
Your privacy is important to us. The Fund uses Blackbaud Payment Services as an online fundraising software provider. Blackbaud Payment Services is an end-to-end PCI-compliant solution. The Blackbaud Vault encrypts sensitive information and keeps your information secure by removing the risks associated with storing credit card information. Blackbaud Payment Services does not store complete credit card information. Your personal information, including credit card numbers, names and addresses, is transferred into The Fund’s donor database and is not shared with other organizations.
The Fund may include your name and the size range of any gift of $5,000 or more on the donor list in The Fund’s annual report, on its Site, and in other promotional materials, unless you request the gift remain anonymous. Excluding such donor lists, The Fund will seek prior approval from you before including your name in public remarks, press releases, and/or other documents made available to the public or before sharing any other personal information.
The Fund reserves the right to use “cookies” on its Site. Cookies are computer programs that store information about web pages a user has visited on a computer hard drive or disk. Information stored includes, but may not be limited to, the date and time a user visits the site and information about the user’s activities while online. Any information gathered is obtained solely for the purpose of improving The Fund’s Site and tracking user traffic patterns throughout the Site.
Persons under 18 years of age are welcome to learn about The Fund on the site. Minors should not, however, provide any personally identifiable information without their parent’s permission. In addition, you must be at least 18 years of age to make a donation to The Fund. Special notices to minors regarding donations and urging them to get parental permission before providing any personally identifiable information are incorporated into the Site.

The Fund makes no warranties of any kind, either express or implied, that the functions or the services provided by or through The Fund system will be error-free or without defect. The materials and information provided at the Site are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind to the full extent permissible pursuant to applicable laws.
The Fund will not be responsible for any damage users may suffer, including but not limited to, loss of data or interruptions of service. The Fund is not responsible for the accuracy or quality of the information obtained through or stored on the system.
The Fund will not be responsible for financial obligations arising from a user’s unauthorized use of the system. Users will indemnify and hold The Fund and its affiliates harmless from any losses sustained by The Fund or the user as a result of intentional misuse of the system by user.

The Site may contain links to other Internet sites on the Web. The Fund provides such links for your convenience only, and is not responsible for the content of any site linked to or from this Site. Links from this Site to any other site do not mean that The Fund approves of, endorses or recommends that Site. Any claims a user might have against The Fund with respect to such other sites is hereby waived.

THE FUND FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS and all related marks are service marks or trademarks of The Fund for Public Schools, Inc. They may not be used or displayed without our prior written consent. All other trademarks, product names and company names and logos appearing on the Site are the property of their respective owners, and may be used only with the permission of the particular owner.
TERMINATION OF SERVICE
The Fund may modify or discontinue the information included in or access to the Site, in whole or in part, at any time for any reason without prior notice.
ASSIGNMENT
The Fund may assign certain of its rights and responsibilities for the Site to another governmental entity, independent contractors or other third parties.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS OF USE
The Fund may alter and/or amend the Privacy Policy/Terms of Use at any time with notice to users. Any such alterations or amendments shall be posted to the Site. Continued use of the Site after you have been notified of any changes indicates your acceptance of the changes.
